Dinner Party Comments

Topic of the Week- Dinner Party

Dinner parties are always the most fun to plan. Lets say I’m having my birthday dinner (since my 22nd was just Sunday) at Chops, the restaurant I work at, and I have four empty seats available to anyone. The number one person I would invite would be Dave Matthews because he is my all time favorite musician. I would sit and talk to him for hours about his music if I had the opportunity. The second person I would invite to my table would be Johnny Depp. He is such an amazing actor and I would really like to have a conversation with him about how he “becomes” his role in movies. The third person I would like to invite would be Will Ferrell because he is by far one of the funniest men alive. He would most likely make me roll on the floor laughing from his jokes. I even heard that he does most of his movies by improv. The last person I would invite would be Ellen Degeneres. Her talk show is hilarious and I would love to meet her in person one day. She does a lot of good to the world too, just in a funnier way. Plus having all four of those people together seems like it would be a lot of fun. Everyone else at the party would just be my friends and family members. The menu would include what is already on the Chops menu since everything on there is pretty delicious and fine dining. The entertainment would be Dave Matthews (since he is already attending). This would be the most ideal dinner party ever.

iPad Comments

Topic of the Week- The iPad

iPads are the hottest new invention of Apple products. The commercials are all over TV influences people to buy one. They are basically the same of a laptop, right? Wrong. The iPad does not support the essential uses as a laptop does. For example, there is no USB ports so it would be hard to write a paper and save it to something. Also, you can not put a disk (movie or cd) into it like you can an average laptop. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I would love to own an iPad, but I would never give up my precious laptop for one.

Pet Peeve Comments

Topic of the Week 3- Pet Peeves

Everyone has that one certain pet peeve that drives them crazy. For me, its smacking. It drives me up the wall when I’m sitting in class and the person behind me is constantly smacking on gum. Just the sound of lips smacking together makes me crazy. Especially when I’m eating and someone is chewing their food with their mouth open. VOMIT!!!!! I wish there was a law prohibiting people eating with their mouth open and smacking their food. Its just so rude. Sorry, I really go off on a tangent about this because it just drives me crazy. Pet peeves are a touchy subject too. Just talking about it makes people mad because they have to think about the thing that drives the insane the most. So, hopefully this week I won’t have to deal with that certain person behind me in class smacking their gum, or watching that certain person in the next restaurant I go to smack on their food with their mouth open.
