As we go on, we remember……

Only 10 more days until graduation. I just don’t know what to do with myself. Over the semester I have learned a lot in all of my classes. For Communication in the Workplace with Dr. Brooks I learned a lot about interview tactics and what questions to look for and how to answer them wisely. I also learned a lot about conflicts in the workplace with how and how to resolve them when necessary. In Groover’s Social Media class I learned a lot about all of the different social media networks and how vital they can be to companies. And in Campaigns with Muller, I made an entire campaign book geared towards promoting the image of GSU’s Health Services.

Honestly, Campaigns was the class I learned the most in because we actually had to put our knowledge to use and make a 194 page book over all of the knowledge we have learned over the course of the years in PR. Over the whole semester we got so much stuff done. Last Wednesday when we turned our book in, it felt like the world had lifted up off of my shoulders.

I plan to carry all of the knowledge I learned over the semester (and years) with me throughout my lifetime. It is vital information in surviving in the work field and I can not wait to put all of it to good use.

Hey batter batter batter, SWING!!!

If I worked for the MLB I would definitely work for the Atlanta Braves. I do not watch baseball religiously, but when I do, I watch the Braves. If I worked PR for the team, I would offer incentives like sweepstakes and giveaways. I would also have a frequency program, where for every 10 games attended, you get a free ticket with a free hot dog and coke product. Also, along with the frequency program the customer would get a card that is scanned when entering Turner Field. If the team was doing bad I would offer incentives like sweepstakes for every person who enters Turner Field. There will be a drawing at the top of every inning and the winner gets a chance to win prizes.

Oh the Places I will Go

If I had the money and the time to travel anywhere in the world, there would be a few places I would go. The first place would be New Zealand. I have always wanted to go there ever since I was a little girl. I love the fact that you can ski and surf in the same day. It is such a beautiful country. Another place I would go would be Alaska. I want to go on an Alaskan cruise and see all of the ice burgs. I also want to see all of the northern light aurora. I definitely want to dedicate a year of my life living in Costa Rica. Ever since I went there on study abroad, I fell in love with the country. It is the most amazing place I have ever been. The people, the food, the culture, everything is amazing there. I would love to live and work on Tortugeruo, the wildlife and nature reserve. I really hope that one day I will be able to live there and make my dream come true. Even as a retiree, I would love to.
